We're recruiting for experienced Commercial Vehicle Technicians to join a well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Immingham.
There are opportunities for HGV Technicians, LCV Technicians and full-range Commercial Vehicle Technicians, making this a great opportunity for technicians from a variety of commercial vehicle backgrounds.
Working Hours
- Early Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm
- Late Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:00pm-10:30pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 7:00am-12:00pm
The Role
As a Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to a high standard, helping to keep vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.
Duties will include:
- Inspection and repair of commercial vehicles to DVSA standards
- MOT preparation and presentation
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding using specialist equipment
- Servicing and preventative maintenance
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out off-site repairs when requiredCompleting accurate job records and paperwork
- Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
- Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
About You
- Previous experience in a Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or similar role
- NVQ, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- HGV, LCV or commercial vehicle experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A reliable, professional and committed approach
Main dealer experience would be advantageous, but technicians from all backgrounds will be considered.
