Role Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking and priming.
- Mix and apply water-based paints to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Conduct spray painting and final polishing.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all work is defect‑free.
- Carry out panel repairs in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Perform strip and refit tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Work effectively within a fast-paced accident repair environment.
- Ensure all work meets company, manufacturer, and customer standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- IMI Level 3 or ATA accreditation – essential.
- Proven experience across Paint, Panel, and Strip & Fit.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and processes.
- Experience working with water-based paints.
- Previous experience within a busy Bodyshop environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Full UK driving licence – preferred.
