THE ROLE
As a Floating Vehicle Technician, you'll provide technical support across multiple dealership workshops, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to the highest manufacturer standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately
- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Conducting vehicle road tests where required
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
- Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
- Handling vehicle parts correctly and maintaining workshop standards
- Supporting different dealership teams while delivering exceptional customer service
- Travelling between dealership locations across the North West as required
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
- Strong servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic skills
- EV/Hybrid qualification desirable but not essential
- MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
- Willingness to travel between dealership sites
- A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
