The Role
As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for preparing, colour matching and refinishing vehicles to an exceptional standard, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and panels ready for the paint process.
- Mix and colour-match paints to achieve a flawless finish.
- Apply water-based paints using modern spray equipment.
- Carry out high-quality refinishing work from start to finish.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a defect-free finish.
- Work efficiently within a busy, fast-paced accident repair centre.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer or Vehicle Paint Technician within a busy bodyshop.
- Proven experience working with water-based paint systems.
- A City & Guilds qualification or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent colour-matching and paint application skills.
- Strong attention to detail with pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle refinishing techniques.
