The Role

As a Mobile SMART Repair Technician / Alloy Wheel Technician, you'll carry out a variety of cosmetic vehicle repairs at customer locations, delivering exceptional workmanship and customer service.

Working independently, you'll manage your own workload while repairing vehicles to the highest standards using modern repair techniques and equipment.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Carry out SMART repairs to vehicle bodywork.
  • Repair and refurbish alloy wheels to a high standard.
  • Complete minor panel repairs using pin-pulling repair methods (no welding required).
  • Prepare, prime and refinish damaged panels.
  • Mix and match paint colours for invisible repairs.
  • Apply water-based paint systems and 2K lacquer.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at every appointment.
  • Maintain your company vehicle, equipment and tools.
  • Manage your daily workload efficiently while working independently.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician, Mobile Repair Technician or Alloy Wheel Technician.
  • Strong alloy wheel refurbishment experience.
  • Experience carrying out cosmetic panel repairs using a pin puller.
  • Confident using water-based paint systems and 2K lacquer.
  • Excellent paint mixing and colour matching skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
