Salary: £34,000 - £44,000 Depending on Experience

OTE: Up to £50,000

THE ROLE

As an Experienced Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, refinishing and painting accident-damaged vehicles to a high-quality manufacturer and industry standard. Your multi-skilled approach will allow you to contribute across the preparation and paint process while working closely with the wider bodyshop team to maintain efficient vehicle throughput.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles and panels for paint, including sanding, filling, masking and priming
  • Mix and apply modern automotive paint systems accurately and efficiently
  • Carry out full and partial resprays, colour matching, blending and refinishing
  • Complete polishing and final finishing to achieve a high-quality factory finish
  • Inspect completed repairs and rectify paint defects or imperfections where required
  • Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians, Preppers and Workshop Controllers
  • Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining exceptional workmanship
  • Follow manufacturer repair methods, bodyshop quality standards, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
