THE ROLE
As a Paint Sprayer Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring all paintwork meets manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles and panels for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
- Mix and match paint colours accurately using manufacturer-approved systems
- Apply paint finishes to repaired vehicles and replacement panels
- Carry out blending and polishing work to achieve a seamless finish
- Inspect completed work to ensure exceptional quality standards
- Work closely with Panel Technicians and MET Technicians throughout the repair process
- Maintain spray booths, equipment, and work areas in line with health and safety requirements
- Complete all work efficiently while adhering to agreed repair time scales
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused Paint Sprayer who takes pride in delivering outstanding vehicle finishes.
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer within an automotive bodyshop environment
- Strong knowledge of paint preparation, application, and finishing techniques
- Experience using modern paint systems and colour-matching technology
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Understanding of manufacturer repair standards and quality procedures
- Excellent team-working and communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- ATA Accreditation beneficial but not essential
