The Role

As a Concrete Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on truck-mounted and static concrete pumps.
  • Performing routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
  • Preparing and inspecting equipment prior to customer delivery and dispatch.
  • Attending site breakdowns and providing technical support when required.
  • Completing service documentation and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
  • Carrying out mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience working on concrete pumps, heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs, or similar equipment.
  • Strong hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Proven fault-finding and repair experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working specifically on concrete pumps.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy plant equipment.
  • Experience attending customer site breakdowns and field service work.
