The Role
As a Concrete Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on truck-mounted and static concrete pumps.
- Performing routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Preparing and inspecting equipment prior to customer delivery and dispatch.
- Attending site breakdowns and providing technical support when required.
- Completing service documentation and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Carrying out mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience working on concrete pumps, heavy plant, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, HGVs, or similar equipment.
- Strong hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Proven fault-finding and repair experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working specifically on concrete pumps.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy plant equipment.
- Experience attending customer site breakdowns and field service work.
