An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a growing and forward‑thinking business. This role offers a varied workload, working on a range of commercial vehicles, motor vehicles, ATVs and off‑road equipment, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and inspections to the highest standards.
The Role
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and vehicle inspections.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Completing pre‑delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
- Servicing and repairing commercial vehicles, ATVs and off‑road equipment.
- Carrying out tyre replacement and wheel alignment work.
- Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical documentation.
- Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately.
- Maintaining high workshop housekeeping standards.
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior technicians.
- Working closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, Agricultural Technician or similar.
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
- Experience working on off‑road vehicles advantageous.
- Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Own tools required.
- Good computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to undertake further training.
- Knowledge of BEV/EV vehicles advantageous.
