The core purpose of the Internal Recruiter position is to support the recruitment lifecycle of this busy and fast-growing organisation. You will be responsible for identifying current and future hiring needs of the business, advertising job vacancies across various channels, and supporting hiring managers throughout the hiring and onboarding process. You will work closely with various managers to ensure we provide a positive candidate experience; pushing job adverts quickly and dynamically to find the best candidates and be proactive in searching for potential candidates using your own initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process from posting job advertisements to making job offers.
- Process incoming applications from all advertising platforms, including screening of applications, conducting pre-screen interviews, and providing shortlisted candidates to managers for interview.
- Manage and review interview packs and ensure that managers are provided with the relevant pack when conducting an interview.
- Assist managers with interviews as and when required.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders including meeting to discuss future sourcing needs and volumes, taking briefs of roles, discussing feedback on candidates, and exploring ways of getting the right hire.
- Use creative methods of sourcing including headhunting.
- Use social media and job boards to attract candidates for your open roles.
- Manage candidate relationships from application to offer acceptance.
- Prepare interview guides and tests alongside the hiring managers.
- Produce reports on time to hire, costs per hire and relating factors affecting recruitment.
- Keep up to date with market trends and provide analysis to the HR team and hiring managers when required.
- Advise hiring managers on best practice recruitment.
- Assist with the evaluation of current initiatives, strategies, pipelines, tools, technologies, job boards, etc. and developing best practices in resourcing.
- Support the onboarding process.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience as a Recruitment Consultant or Internal Recruiter.
- Experience in high volume recruitment as well as roles that require persistence to fill.
- HR experience is not essential but desirable.
- Proven experience in generalist recruitment and training within an operational environment.
- Proven written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Experience use of LinkedIn Recruiter is essential.
