The Role

We're currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Packaging Specialist with FLT driving experience for an exciting opportunity supporting one of our prestigious automotive clients based in the Bognor Regis area of West Sussex. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • The inbound quality and quantity checking of part and component deliveries against documentation.
  • The recording of any returned part damages in both photographic and computer formats.
  • The sorting and storage of parts into the warehouse.
  • The picking and packaging of outbound parts and components that are to be despatched, which will involve using a reach FLT as well as general day-to-day warehouse duties as required.

Applications for this role are welcomed from experienced warehouse associates who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar picking & packing environment. Applicants must be computer literate, very familiar with Excel, and have experience of SAP which is essential for the role. Applicants MUST also hold a current B1 counterbalance and D2 Reach Truck Licence and have good written and verbal English communication skills. FLT licences must be dated within the last 3 years with demonstrated experience of using an FLT during recent employment.

In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic rate of £14.65 per hour plus shift premiums for working additional hours and weekends. Working in the Bognor Regis area, this role is commutable from Chichester, Worthing, Brighton, Portsmouth, Hayling Island, Havant and Arundel, amongst other areas of West Sussex and surrounding counties.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience preferably within an automotive manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Goods in/Goods out experience would be advantageous.
  • SAP experience is essential.
  • Computer literate with knowledge and experience of using Excel.
  • Parts packaging experience would be desirable.
  • B1 Counterbalance and D2 Reach truck FLT licences (Essential).

Working Hours: 0630 - 1500 Monday to Friday.
