About Us
Autoscan UK Ltd is a leading provider of quality assurance and inspection services to the automotive industry. With years of experience and a commitment to excellence, we partner with top automotive manufacturers to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
We are currently looking to recruit 3x experienced Quality Inspectors to join an established team at one of our customers' sites based in Basildon, Essex. This will be for an initial short term contract duration supporting a project expected to last approximately 2 months.
The role will be supporting a new product launch with a specific focus on parts deviation support, this will include visual quality inspection checks, using basic handheld inspection tools, such as verniers, calipers and gauges. It will also be important that the successful candidates have the ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings, as there will also be a level of re-work to be completed on some of the parts in addition to inspection.
Working Hours: Mon to Thurs 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 15:30
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in Quality inspection or a related field.
- Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in Quality inspection, ideally within the automotive, engineering or manufacturing industries (preferred).
