Overview

We\'re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Inventory Controller to join our team. In this role, you\'ll play a key part in keeping production lines running smoothly by managing stock levels, tracking inventory movements, and ensuring data accuracy across our systems. Working within a fast-paced environment, you\'ll take ownership of inventory processes that directly support manufacturing and supply chain operations. From raw materials to finished components, your ability to maintain structure and identify discrepancies will help avoid delays, reduce waste, and keep everything moving on schedule. You\'ll thrive in this role if you\'re hands-on, highly organised, and comfortable working with data to drive decisions. A background in manufacturing or automotive supply chains would also be beneficial, but what matters most is your ability to keep things running efficiently behind the scenes, by ensuring attention to detail along with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up inventory control procedures & system
  • Manage all incoming & outgoing stock such as receipts and dispatches.
  • Record all transactions & movements in document and database record form
  • Track & verify daily stock levels
  • Generate stock demand & forecasting reports
  • Analyse and resolve problems in the supply chain
  • Perform physical cycle count of inventory

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience with inventory systems (ERP/MRP) - automotive industry experience is desirable
  • A proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing, logistics, and procurement teams
  • A passion for operational efficiency and data accuracy
