Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for problem-solving. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team., * Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations.

• Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.

• Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, or electrical systems.

• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive or machinery sector.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance) are advantageous but not mandatory.

• A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving vehicle repairs or maintenance on-site.
