Compliance Administrator
Location: Harlow
Full-time: Permanent
Working pattern: Mon- Fri, 9am-5pm
We’re looking for an Administrator to join our Compliance team.
Job summary:
You will help support the Compliance Manager in overseeing and enhancing AutoProtect’s regulatory compliance framework, ensuring the business operates in line with FCA requirements and promote a compliant culture.
What you’ll do:
- Liaison with AutoProtect Clients and Insurers to ensure appropriate compliance frameworks and evidence of required outcomes are transparent
- Liaison with the wider business in regard to accurate measurement and feedback on quality, conduct and performance
- Maintain policy and procedure documents in line with regulatory landscape and market changes
- Work with Learning and Development team to provide training materials on regulatory related training materials and internal policies
- Apply mitigation measures to influence and manage the potential conflict of interest between sales activities and positive customer outcomes
- Provide a point of contact for compliance and FCA regulation related queries
- Design and implement control measures to manage compliant activity and mitigate risk
- Prepare reports for management giving independent and objective assurance on adherence to regulatory standards and on the effectiveness of controls in place
- Support the business with review and issue of contractual documentation and terms of business
- Liaison with business to gather data on commission levels, loss ratios, complaints, claims, cancellations, service levels, vulnerable customers
- Work closely with the CCO to deliver assurance on compliance and conduct to the Board and Shareholders
- Contribute to product / service development and schedule regular reviews to confirm the product continues to meet the outcomes required for the target market
- Other reasonable duties as required.

- Highly adaptable and keen to learn with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Sound logical and critical thinker with commercial awareness to analyse information and make reasoned recommendations, able to understand the importance of control and anticipates problem areas and associated risk levels with objective rationale.
What we’re looking for:
- Understanding of both the practical and technical requirements of the FCA, ICO and any other relevant regulatory and trade bodies
- Previous experience in a compliance role, preferably within the insurance and / or financial services sector
