We're looking for a Registered Manager to take ownership of a children's home that aims not only to meet Ofsted standards — but to exceed them consistently, creating a warm, safe, and aspirational space for children and young people.

Your Purpose
As the Registered Manager, your leadership will be the foundation for a service that delivers Outstanding care, support, and outcomes in line with:
- The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015
- The Quality Standards
- Ofsted's framework for inspection.
You will be at the heart of creating a home that is:
- Safe and nurturing, with clear routines, high aspirations and restorative boundaries
- Therapeutic and trauma-informed, with emotionally attuned care at its core
- Child-centred and participatory, where young voices shape the decisions that affect them
You’ll be expected to:
- Lead and develop a resilient, skilled staff team to deliver high-quality care and relational practice
- Ensure full regulatory compliance, including robust safeguarding, incident management and documentation
- Deliver evidence-based interventions, aligned with children's care plans and positive behaviour support
- Prepare for and confidently manage Ofsted inspections, audits, and multi-agency collaboration
- Create a culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement, using supervision, coaching and restorative feedback
- Participate in management on call.
What You’ll Need
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy within a children's residential home
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted's Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF)
- Understanding of trauma, attachment and child development
- Proven ability to embed a positive safeguarding culture and proactively manage risk
- Excellent leadership, people management and regulatory reporting skills
- Commercial awareness with financial acumen with an understanding and experience of managing budgets
