About Milo
Milo is an AI analyst that gives product teams answers from their data in minutes, not days. We connect to company databases and let non-technical users get answers fast. The problem we solve is real: business decisions get made on guesswork because getting data takes too long. Analysts spend their time fielding ad-hoc requests instead of doing strategic work. We’re changing that.
The Role
You’ll work directly with our Head of Sales to build pipeline through outbound prospecting. This does mean being comfortable getting on the phone. This is a hands-on role at an early-stage company. You will have support and guidance but won’t be micro-managed. Fair warning: You’ll have days where nothing lands. If you want a comfortable 9-5 where you send emails and tick boxes, this is not for you. If you thrive on challenge and want to prove yourself, this could be the role that accelerates your career.
What You’ll Do
- Daily: Make calls to target accounts using salesfinity; Send personalised LinkedIn outreach to Tier A prospects; Update CRM (HubSpot) with call notes and pipeline activity; Qualify inbound interest and book discovery calls.
- Weekly: Build and refine prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools; Create short video outreach for high-priority accounts (Vidyard/Loom); Collaborate on messaging - what’s landing, what’s not.
- As You Grow: Help create sales enablement content (use case videos, competitor comparisons); Run discovery calls independently; Develop account strategies for enterprise prospects.
What You Bring
- Must have: 1-2 years of B2B sales, SDR, or customer-facing experience; Comfortable on the phone; Initiative; Coachable; Able to work from our WeWork in Canary Wharf 4 days per week.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator; Interest in data/analytics/BI space (you’ll need to talk credibly about Power BI problems); Comfortable using AI tools for research, messaging, and productivity.
What We Offer
- Salary: £35k base
- Commission: Uncapped, paid on meetings booked that convert to qualified opportunities. Realistic OTE £45k -50k in year one for a solid performer.
- Equity: 0.5% share options
- Real training: You’ll sit next to the Head of Sales daily and learn phone-first outbound properly. Not watching videos or reading playbooks; we’ll actually be making calls together, getting live feedback, building your skills.
- Path to AE: High performers move to running their own discovery calls and closing deals within 12 months. We need people who can grow into closers, not career SDRs.
- Direct access: You’ll work directly with the Head of Sales and CEO. No layers, no politics, no waiting for approval.
- Real impact: Your calls will directly generate pipeline that closes. At a startup this size, you’ll see exactly how your work translates to revenue and company growth.
Why This Role Is Different
You’ll have more ownership than a typical SDR. We’re a small team; your ideas matter, your feedback shapes the approach, and you’ll see exactly how your work translates to revenue.
