Autoneum is globally leading in acoustic and thermal management for light and commercial vehicles. The Company develops and produces multifunctional, lightweight and sustainable components and systems for interior floor, interior trim as well as engine bay and underbody. Customers include almost all automobile manufacturers in Europe, North & South America, Asia and Africa. The Company with its head-quarters in Winterthur, Switzerland, is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (ticker symbol AUTN).

Commencing in August 2026 this fixed term contract role will continue until November 2027. Reporting to the Production Control and Logistics Manager and working within a busy team supporting a wide customer base including JLR, BMW Mini, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Toyota and Nissan, this customer focussed role is required to cover the secondment of a team member to a project.

Core responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, cleanse, and analyse supply chain data (costs, demand patterns, productivity) to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards to track metrics like lead times, inventory turnover, and service levels.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels across warehouses, forecast demand, and establish optimal order volumes.
  • Cost Optimisation: Identify cost-saving opportunities through route planning, and negotiating with suppliers or logistics providers.
  • Risk Mitigation: Track the variance between short-term plans and anticipate supply constraints, and develop strategies to minimise disruption.
  • Check customer EDI daily to see any changes and react appropriately to the need, managing exceptions.
  • Create picks for the logistics team daily, to allow the timely preparation of deliveries to customers.
  • Check and monitor customer portals daily for any notifications, or demerits. Analyse and dispute demerits where appropriate, report to management any disputes.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, highlight any shortfalls to management and purchasing, and report a monthly KPI.
  • Monitor customer performance on time in full, liaise with customer any shortfalls, reporting to management any issues.
  • Create a weekly production plan, and monitor daily for changes, meet with the production team twice daily to discuss progress.
  • Monitor obsolescence, ensuring zero write off.
  • Liaise with internal customers, such as production and quality, helping to ensure continuity of supply to customer.
  • Organise efficient supplier transports according to contracts, and striving to get the most cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure inventory remains within company guidelines.
  • Analyse customer and supplier data and report anomalies.
  • Ensure shop floor continuity of supply, preventing productions line stoppages.
  • Create a long-term capacity plan to highlight anomalies.
  • Attend production and planning weekly meetings.

You will need to have experience in a similar role gained from working in a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry together with excellent IT and communication skills.
