We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller or someone with Automotive Aftersales Advisory experience to join a busy main dealer workshop. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to take ownership of workshop operations, maximise revenue, and lead a skilled team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating a team of up to 12 technicians, ensuring high performance and a positive workshop culture
- Maximising hours sold and revenue per transaction while maintaining quality and adherence to the EVHC process
- Monitoring work in progress, managing job allocations, and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Overseeing parts ordering, stock availability, and supplier relationships
- Supporting management in achieving the highest possible customer satisfaction (CSI) scores
- Using dealer management systems (CDK, Keyloop, Kerridge, or similar) to accurately track and report workshop activity
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in workshop management, Aftersales Advisory, or Automotive Service leadership
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- In-depth knowledge of automotive maintenance, repairs, and EV/Hybrid vehicles
- Experience with main dealer processes and standards
- Proactive, professional, and customer-focused approach
