The Job

  • Monday to Friday
  • 13:30 – 23:00 Monday – Thursday
  • 08:00 - 17:30 Fridays
  • £30,000
  • Orpington BR6

Duties

  • Taking wheels off cars using a standard jack and air jack
  • Fitting and stripping tyres using a tyre machine
  • Using acid to remove debris and paintwork (Training provided)
  • Carrying wheels up to 23” – Heavy lifting / manual handling
  • Welding and Straightening
  • Preparing for painting
  • Painting wheels (eventually with training)
  • Using different tools and machinery

Experience

  • Automotive background working with wheels and tyres

Requirements

  • Valid full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Good timekeeper
  • Physically fit and able to lift weight
  • Good listening skills
