What You Will Do

  • Design and deliver software architecture for electric vehicle charging, including all related artifacts, using UML and model-based engineering methodologies.
  • Communicate architectural concepts to the development team, ensuring software compliance with functional, quality, and security standards.
  • Support the resolution of charging software architecture issues and collaborate across teams to develop robust software requirements.
  • Utilise Embedded Coder and MISRA C for production code generation, ensuring high-quality software output.
  • Validate control code through software validation tools and in the HIL environment, guaranteeing software reliability and efficiency.
  • Engage in continuous learning and knowledge sharing to bring in best practices and innovative solutions.

What You Will Bring

  • Solid understanding of Embedded Coder and MISRA C for production code generation.
  • Proven experience as a Software Architect within the automotive domain, with knowledge of embedded systems and ASPICE process.
  • Expertise in application software design in Autosar architecture and proficiency in UML and model-based engineering.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modelling, translating complex requirements into functional software.
  • Degree in Software, Controls, or related field; higher degrees preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and team collaboration abilities.

Location

Based at Gaydon with a hybrid working model.
