Overview
This role requires an individual capable of working to a very high standard. The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for preparing and painting new and repaired panels/parts on vehicles and small commercials.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of panels/parts for painting
- Painting of new/damaged panels, ensuring colour and mix are consistent
- Maintenance of equipment and tools
- Sign off QC sheet on completion of tasks
To ensure full compliance with all company policies, work provider agreements, Repairs Specifications and Health and Safety legislation at all times. This job description is not exhaustive due to the changing environment of the company. The jobholder may be required to carry out other duties considered to be within the scope of their job.
No particular qualifications required as a skills test will be carried out.
Salary: reflective of Shift work, Painter can command £68K
Hours: 4pm-2.00AM Monday to Friday
The successful candidates must be fully conversant with all types of spraying techniques and possess the required skills to prepare and paint, polish, repair and polish vehicles and trailers to the highest of standards.
A full clean driving licence is required, max 6 points.
