Technician for a Franchised Dealership in Burton On Trent
This is a Commercial workshop working on vehicle lifts capable of handling heavy workloads of Electric Vans, with all brand-new equipment .
39 hours per week with a rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays, finishing at 4pm on a Friday.
Basic Salary £27-£30K plus Bonus
Our client, a franchised family-owned motor dealership group, is seeking an experienced Technician (Mechanic).
The minimum experience required is 5 years, with experience working on Commercial vehicles (Vans).
Electric vehicle experience would be an advantage; full manufacturer training will be provided to all applicants.
Although dealership experience is not necessary,
you should have technical competence in vehicle mechanics, a good working knowledge of electrical and electronic components, and be comfortable using the latest diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.
You must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Mechanics. A VOSA MOT Smartcard would be advantageous but is not essential.
You should be a good team player and communicator to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop, liaising with team members to meet and exceed customer expectations.
