Shift and Location
Shifts: Rolling roster, work 18 days out of every 28, with two full weekends off.
Standard Shift Duration: 9 hours and 45 minutes, including a 45‑minute break.
Flexibility Required: While standard shifts are under 10 hours, end‑of‑shift flexibility is essential. You may be required to work up to 12 hours (including breaks) depending on operational needs.
Depot Postcode: G40 3JT (night shifts only)
Eligibility: You must live within 25 miles or 1 hour travel from the depot.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service by safely recovering vehicles and reassuring customers during breakdowns, helping them get back on the road quickly.
- Work independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a valued part of a supportive team.
- Solve problems on the spot, using technical skills and calm approach to handle a wide range of roadside situations.
- Stay solution‑focused and compliant with EU Regulations & WTD, representing the company with professionalism.
Qualifications
- A full Category C (HGV Class 2) driving licence is essential. If you already hold a Category CE (HGV Class 1) licence, we’ll support you in gaining it.
- A valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and a digital tachograph card.
- Confidence using and adapting to new technology.
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
