Ready to Turn Data into Decisions? Do you love uncovering stories hidden in numbers? At The AA, we’re on the lookout for a curious, analytical mind who’s eager to make an impact. As an Insight Analyst, you won’t just crunch data, you’ll transform it into insights that shape real business decisions. This role is all about exploration, collaboration, and innovation. You’ll work alongside senior analysts, data scientists, and BI developers to create insight-led solutions that drive change.

What will I be doing?

  • Deliver hands‐on analysis using SQL and Python/R to support business decision‐making, including exploratory analysis and basic statistical modelling.
  • Translate business questions into clear analytical tasks in collaboration with senior analysts and stakeholders.
  • Apply basic modelling and predictive techniques to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Support the development of insight‐led data products, working closely with data scientists and BI developers.
  • Partner with data engineering to ensure data quality, availability, and reliable analytical outputs.
  • Document analytical approaches and contribute to knowledge‐sharing and continuous improvement across the analytics team.

What do I need?

  • Proven experience in data analysis using SQL and Python or R, working with large and complex datasets.
  • Working knowledge of basic analytical and modelling techniques (e.g. regression, clustering, classification).
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with a genuine passion for working with data.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiences.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with a collaborative, team‐oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience); familiarity with agile ways of working and relevant analytics certifications are advantageous.
