You will own the strategy, roadmap and commercial performance of the AA App, leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver customer experiences that increase engagement, retention, revenue and advocacy. This is a high-profile leadership role requiring strategic thinking, strong commercial judgement and exceptional stakeholder influence. You will shape long term direction while remaining close enough to delivery to remove barriers, make informed trade-offs and help teams turn ambition into measurable outcomes.
What will I be doing?

- Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams across Product, Design, Content, Business Analysis and Engineering, creating clarity, accountability and an environment where people can thrive.
- Deliver measurable customer and commercial outcomes by increasing adoption, engagement, retention and revenue through insight-led product development and experimentation.
- Build trusted partnerships across Digital, Engineering, Marketing, Trading and the AA's wider businesses, influencing senior leaders and aligning stakeholders around shared priorities and outcomes.
- Use customer insight, analytics and performance data to set meaningful product measures, prioritise investment and continuously improve digital journeys.
- Champion modern product practices, agile delivery and emerging technologies, balancing strategic leadership with a practical willingness to support teams and unblock delivery.
What do I need?
- Significant leadership experience within digital product management, including responsibility for building, developing and leading high performing teams.
- Strong experience owning and growing customer facing B2C digital products, with a clear understanding of customer needs, user-centred design and commercial performance.
- A successful track record of defining product strategy and translating it into prioritised roadmaps, investment cases and measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to challenge constructively, create alignment and act as a trusted partner to senior leaders.
- The ability to think strategically while remaining close to execution, making effective trade-offs, resolving ambiguity and supporting teams to deliver at pace.
- Strong knowledge of agile product development, discovery, experimentation and data-led decision making within complex, multidisciplinary environments.
Additional experience that would be valuable:
- Experience leading native mobile app products would be particularly valuable, although broader B2C digital product experience is equally relevant.
- Exposure to insurance, financial services, banking or another regulated environment would also be beneficial.
