As a Customer Data Insight Analyst, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering detailed customer and product insights that drive strategic business decisions. Your role will involve using advanced mathematical and analytical methods to solve complex business problems and enhance decision-making processes.
You’ll collaborate closely with various business units to provide a deep understanding of customer behaviour, risk, and value, ultimately contributing to the profitable management of customers through improved acquisition, retention, cost to serve, and effective cross-sell/upsell strategies.
What will I be doing?
- Deliver customer analysis to support business decision-making and tactical delivery.
- Provide analytical input for developing customer strategy, marketing strategy, and product development.
- Utilise data analysis techniques and tools to deliver actionable customer intelligence efficiently.
- Collaborate with business units to provide a comprehensive understanding of the customer base and quantify commercial opportunities.
- Utilise statistical models to understand customer risk, value, and behaviour, ensuring effective use in marketing campaigns.
- Identify data quality issues and suggest improvements to data structures, while project managing detailed analysis programmes.
What do I need?
- Degree within a STEM subject and/or proven demonstrable equivalent working experience within data/insight analytics, data mining and statistical techniques.
- Proficient in SQL; knowledge of Python/Databricks/R is desirable.
- Demonstrable competence in delivering actionable customer intelligence.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex data and concepts into easy-to-understand formats.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with management.
