Salary up to £55,000 + £12,000 OTE + Company Bonus + Car Allowance or Car. Field based home working.

The Role

  • To lead the Business Development of existing customer base and expand to secure new Logos in the UK, establishing a strong pipeline of projects from End-Users leading to meeting overall sales targets and objectives.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Plan and execute the sales/go to market strategy.
  • Identify and develop business relationships with new and existing client base.
  • Project manage opportunities, following well established CCS sales and DRIVE processes.
  • Understand competitive position in the market and ensure we confidently communicate competitive advantages.
  • Highlight gaps and ways in which we can beat the competition.
  • Be an enthusiastic evangelist.
  • Technical competence with the product set and/or demonstrate vertical expertise and knowledge.

The Person

  • Proven track record in winning high value IT projects into Industry at CIO level.
  • Proven use of a solution-based sales process to win orders.
  • Technically aware of OT solutions.
  • Consistent on or above target sales and margin performance.
  • +2 years field sales experience in software and automation sales.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes across different verticals.
  • The ability to develop new business through sales prospecting.
  • Good reporting, communication and written skills.
  • Experience of tender process and of medium to large roll out and implementation.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills at Senior level within Enterprise/Corporate organisations.
  • Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the UK when required.
  • Proven ability to develop strong and trusted relationships with End Users.
  • Good Microsoft IT skills around the Office product suite.
  • Self-motivated and a good team player.
  • Inquisitive personality.
