The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for various projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create and develop electrical designs and schematics using CAD software (e.g., Solidworks Electrical, EPLAN).
- Component Selection: Select appropriate electrical components such as relays, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical devices.
- Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes to validate designs, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain detailed electrical drawings, technical documentation, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Compliance: Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, UL, IEEE).
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to integrate electrical designs into larger systems.
- Troubleshooting: Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical design issues during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in electrical design engineering or a related role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, circuit design, and electrical theory.
- Experience with PLCs, control systems, and industrial automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards.
