Applied Integration is an established UK systems integrator based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire.
We specialise in the design and delivery of complex automation and control solutions across a range of industries.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our engineering team.
The Role
The Controls Engineer will work on a variety of technically challenging automation projects, supporting projects from initial design and development through to testing and commissioning.

Varied and technically challenging projects
Key responsibilities include:
PLC software design, programming and development
HMI and SCADA development
Working with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems
Integration of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and industrial equipment
Industrial communications and networking
Control system fault finding and troubleshooting
FAT and SAT activities
Supporting installation and commissioning
Producing technical documentation and functional design specifications
Working alongside electrical, mechanical, software and project engineering teams
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a Control Engineer with:
Strong PLC and industrial automation experience
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell experience
Siemens PLC experience
HMI and/or SCADA development experience
Industrial control system integration experience
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
FAT, SAT and commissioning experience
Understanding of industrial communication protocols
Experience with Mitsubishi, Schneider, Beckhoff, Omron, AVEVA/Wonderware, Ignition, SQL, OPC-UA, MQTT or Ether Net/IP would also be advantageous.
This Controls Engineer role is a permanent, office-based position in Stokesley, North Yorkshire.
Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance or willing to relocate.
