Controls Engineer
to join our engineering team. The Role The Controls Engineer will work on a variety of technically challenging automation projects, supporting projects from initial design and development through to testing and commissioning. Monday to Thursday, 8:00am5:00pm Company pension scheme Company sick pay Salary sacrifice schemes Private healthcare following six months' service Annual performance review Excellent training and development opportunities Friendly and supportive working environment Monthly team lunches Varied and technically challenging projects Key responsibilities include: PLC software design, programming and development HMI and SCADA development Working with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell and Siemens PLC systems Integration of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and industrial equipment Industrial communications and networking Control system fault finding and troubleshooting FAT and SAT activities Supporting installation and commissioning Producing technical documentation and functional design specifications Working alongside electrical, mechanical, software and project engineering teams Skills & Experience We are looking for a Control Engineer with: Strong PLC and industrial automation experience Allen-Bradley / Rockwell experience Siemens PLC experience HMI and/or SCADA development experience Industrial control system integration experience Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills FAT, SAT and commissioning experience Understanding of industrial communication protocols Experience with Mitsubishi, Schneider, Beckhoff, Omron, AVEVA/Wonderware, Ignition, SQL, OPC-UA, MQTT or EtherNet/IP would also be advantageous.
This Controls Engineer role is a permanent, office-based position in Stokesley, North Yorkshire. Candidates should be within a reasonable commuting distance or willing to relocate.
