Electrical Controls Engineer - The Role:
- Lead complex electrical engineering projects including FAT and SAT activities
- Produce technical documentation such as control philosophies, FDS and C&E documentation
- Develop detailed cable schedules and block cable diagrams
- Design and coordinate cable routing and containment with mechanical teams
- Program, test and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems (TIA Portal)
- Support site installation and commissioning activities
- Prepare project costings and labour estimates to support the sales team
- Provide technical support to internal engineers and external customers
Electrical Controls Engineer - The Person:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical for schematic design
- Hands-on PLC/HMI programming experience
