This is a fantastic opportunity for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer looking to develop within a modern, highly automated manufacturing environment. This role offers a great mix of hands-on fault finding, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and automation support within a fast-paced production environment. Maintenance Engineer - The Role: Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on production machinery and facilities Provide first-line fault finding and repairs to minimise production downtime Work with machine downtime and OEE data to improve equipment uptime Fault-find across PLC automation, safety systems and control panels Support continuous improvement and project activities Work with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Assist with spare parts management and site maintenance activities Provide technical support when required Mentor apprentices and support their development Maintain machinery in line with TPM schedules and company standards Maintenance Engineer - What We're Looking For: HNC or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar maintenance role Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Experience with PLC automation, safety systems and control panels S5, S7 and TIA Portal fault-finding experience would be advantageous 18th Edition electrical qualification would be advantageous Knowledge of electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, machining and machine technology Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach Comfortable working independently and within a team under time pressure Why Join?
