Electrical Fitter - The Role:
- Carry out electrical wiring of control panels and special purpose automated machinery.
- Take responsibility for wiring machine elements and electrical cabinets, including rectifications and engineering changes.
- Support machine build, assembly and initial setup, including assisting with pneumatic routing and mechanical elements.
- Assist in commissioning and development of machinery from power-on through to customer acceptance.
- Test and check electrical systems, sensors and machine functions prior to full development.
- Maintain accurate build documentation and ensure all work meets internal procedures and electrical standards.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve build and design issues.
- Support installation, testing and servicing at customer sites in the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Ensure high standards of build quality, cleanliness and presentation throughout the process.
