This will be a predominantly office-based role with some travel for trade shows and client briefing as required.
The Role:
- Applications and business development activities across the UK and Europe.
- Develop relationships with end users across Aerospace, Gas Turbine, Automotive and related industries.
- Identify new business opportunities and support existing customer accounts.
- Work closely with Project Engineers, Technical Specifiers and Procurement Teams to understand customer requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and product proposals.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions.
- Support marketing activities to promote innovative processing solutions.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop bespoke solutions for customer applications.
What We're Looking For:
- Graduates with 2-3 years' industrial engineering experience and a strong interest in technical sales are encouraged to apply.
- Technical expertise within Engineering, Process Engineering or Metallurgical based qualifications highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple customer opportunities.
- Computer literate with a systematic approach to managing information.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe for customer meetings and exhibitions.
