Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
- Design electrical and control systems in line with industry standards
- Produce schematics, panel drawings, cable diagrams, and single line diagrams
- Support electrical power distribution and control system architecture
- Create and maintain EC&I documentation (P&IDs, cable schedules, instrument schedules)
- Review and update engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Apply EMC best practices (cable segregation, shielding, grounding)
- Carry out site surveys and identify system improvements
- Support commissioning, testing, and validation activities
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Assist with tenders and technical proposals
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
- 1 year+ experience in a similar role
- AutoCAD Electrical (or similar) experience, training available
- Experience producing electrical drawings and documentation
- Understanding of EC&I documentation
