The Role:
- Test and validation of machinery and equipment in-house and worldwide customer locations
- System software commissioning and generation (Robot, PLC and Kepware code)
- System fault finding and diagnostics
- Fault rectification
- Conducting system wide test and inspection
- Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs
- Conduct customer training
- Development of Robot and PLC software (Drives, Mechanical Controls)
- Modification of engineering drawings to support system build and to improve quality
- Writing procedures and plans
- Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules
- Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics
The Person:
- Ability to read and understand electrical technical drawings
- Experience of PLC fault find and modification (Allen Bradley / Siemens preferred)
- ‘Hands-on’ experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment
- Professional manner with good communication skills
- Able to represent the company to a high standard
- Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues
- Full, clean driving licence and passport
Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
