The Role:

  • Test and validation of machinery and equipment in-house and worldwide customer locations
  • System software commissioning and generation (Robot, PLC and Kepware code)
  • System fault finding and diagnostics
  • Fault rectification
  • Conducting system wide test and inspection
  • Set-up of in-house system software and industrial PCs
  • Conduct customer training
  • Development of Robot and PLC software (Drives, Mechanical Controls)
  • Modification of engineering drawings to support system build and to improve quality
  • Writing procedures and plans
  • Completion of technical documentation including test plans and training modules
  • Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics

The Person:

  • Ability to read and understand electrical technical drawings
  • Experience of PLC fault find and modification (Allen Bradley / Siemens preferred)
  • ‘Hands-on’ experience in building electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Professional manner with good communication skills
  • Able to represent the company to a high standard
  • Flexible manner to adopt new challenges and input from peers and colleagues
  • Full, clean driving licence and passport

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
