EC&I Site Technician - The Role:

  • Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels and specialised machinery
  • Installation of cable tray, trunking, conduits and cable systems
  • Glanding and termination of multicore, copper and fibre optic cables
  • Testing and inspection (continuity, insulation resistance, functionality checks)
  • Assist with commissioning activities and completion of inspection/test plans (ITPs)
  • Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics and specifications
  • Fault finding, issue reporting and updating site logs
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety and quality procedures
  • Liaise with engineers, site managers and internal teams
  • Maintain clean and safe working environments on-site
  • Work flexibly on-site, including travel and varied project durations

EC&I Site Technician - The Person:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience in a similar role within the engineering sector
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
