They are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team, providing pivotal support within their Low Voltage (LV) Engineering function. Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
- Take a lead role in allocated projects, ensuring all LV design elements are completed in a timely manner and to correct standards.
- Support LV Design Engineers with their projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and company QA requirements.
- Mentor Junior LV Design Engineers, aiding in their skill and capability development.
- Attend client sites to produce compliance reports on existing LV Assemblies.
- Take a senior role in complex site migration projects, leading a team of LV Engineers and site operatives.
- Design hardware systems using proprietary components for LV Assemblies.
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
- Detailed knowledge of different motor starters and their applications.
- Understanding of relay logic and electrical control circuits.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Promis-e OR EPLAN.
- Knowledge of BS EN Power Switchgear and Control gear Assemblies and BS EN 60947 Low-voltage Switchgear and Control gear.
- At least 5 years of experience as an LV Design Engineer.
- HNC/HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
