Trainee Automation Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for the position of a Trainee Automation Engineer to be part of a growing department, focused on designing and implementing solutions. Join a long established team offering training and progression for a dedicated Engineer, ideally with a maintenance background.

Salary: Up to GBP37,000 + Overtime

Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00 – 4:30

Trainee Automation Engineer – The Role:

• Developing PLC based solutions for automated handling projects
• HMI and SCADA applications using the latest packages from the industry leaders, such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi & Siemens

Trainee Automation Engineer – The Person:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility in methods of working
• Demonstrated experience within an electrical maintenance or service background or obtained a relevant electrical qualification (HNC/HND)
