Salary range: £50,000 - £60,000, including Pension, Profit Share, Paid-Overtime, On-site Gym. £500 per year cash benefit for leisure activities. Paid day off for your birthday.
Location: Derbyshire (commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Castle Donnington, Ripley and surrounding areas).
The Role
- Produce technical and commercial tenders for automation and control system projects
- Develop project costings, tender programmes and final proposal documents
- Support directors with complex tender submissions and structured bid processes
- Monitor tender portals and identify new business opportunities
- Maintain CRM systems and sales reporting documentation
- Manage proposal templates, costing tools and sales materials
- Support client visits and incoming sales enquiries
- Contribute to social value, sustainability and governance responses within tender submissions
What We're Looking For
- HNC or above in Electrical, Electronic, Software or related Engineering discipline
- Previous experience within a tendering or proposals environment
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA control systems desirable
- Understanding of M&E installations beneficial
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
