Technical Sales Engineer £40-45k + Pension, Health Insurance, Commission Clear Progression Path Oxfordshire Ref: 24729 Keen Technical Sales Engineer sought to be involved in the full sales cycle from lead generation to effective business close. Technical Sales Engineer  - The Role: Follow up on inbound and warm inquiries generated through marketing channels Work with the sales and engineering teams to create detailed proposals, technical presentations and solutions. Proactively reach out to potential customers Build and maintain existing accounts from a global customer base. Engage with prospects across different sectors and geographies Qualify leads and assess their suitability Carry out meetings or demos with qualified prospects. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and interactions Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead-generation efforts. Work with the sales team to build strategies to reach sales targets. Assist in the development of sales scripts and outreach strategies. Contribute to the development of sales collateral and materials. Attend industry events or trade shows to network and identify potential leads. Support the sales team in achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets. Technical Sales Engineer  - The Person: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation in a highly technical discipline. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Educated to degree level preferably in an Engineering, Business or Marketing discipline (2.1 or above). Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools. Ability to establish and maintain relationships. Goal-oriented mindset and a desire to meet and exceed targets. A logical approach to problem-solving and strong negotiation abilities. Well organised, ability to work to deadlines and high attention to detail. Any experience of manufacturing/industrial automation and/or machine vision highly advantageous Located in Oxfordshire, this role would be commutable from within and around Reading, Didcot, Swindon and Oxford.
