This position is ideal for an Electrical Engineer wanting to develop into proposals.
You will be responsible for leading the development, coordination, and delivery of high quality technical and commercial proposals for Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) drive and motor system solutions. This role manages the full bid lifecycle: from opportunity qualification through to final submission, ensuring proposals are accurate, competitive, compliant and aligned with customer specifications and company strategy.
The Proposals Engineer acts as the key interface between Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure successful bid outcomes and strong order conversion.
Electrical Proposals - The Role:- Complete electrical proposals
- Support electrical hardware design specifically incorporating complex drives & motors
- Support sales teams customer visits gathering technical information on current & potential applications
- Analyse requests of technical support from customer
- Support new and existing customers & key accounts technically with enquiries and orders
Located in Shropshire, this role would be commutable from Shifnal, Telford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster or Ludlow. The position will be office based for initial weeks, then hybrid role or work from home.
