As Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple high-value automation projects — leading cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Project Manager - The Role- Full project ownership — technical and commercial delivery from concept to handover
- Lead client interactions and manage key stakeholder relationships throughout project lifecycle
- Coordinate internal engineering teams, external contractors, and suppliers
- Review technical proposals and bids, ensuring cost-effective solutions are put forward
- Drive repeat business and long-term client partnerships through excellence in delivery
- Oversee multiple projects across a range of sectors, from £20K to £3M in value
- You're an experienced automation professional with a proven track record managing technical projects in fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience delivering control and automation projects (PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives)
- Experience working in or alongside as systems integrator
- Strong knowledge of automation software platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, Ignition
- Experience across key industries: FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Utilities
- Commercially aware with the ability to manage costs, timelines, and client expectations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ambitious, technically credible, and self-driven
