Electrical Design Manager – The Role:
- Ensure that the Electrical Design Department is efficiently and effectively deployed on all company projects to meet the required project milestones.
- Manage detailed and concept electrical hardware design team.
- Coordinate the manufacturing, test & dispatch of designed items.
- Line Management & mentoring of the Electrical Design Team.
- Quality checking of drawings.
- Commercial management, hours & planning.
- Develop and manage the technical practice and hardware standards of the Company.
- Identify and assess the value and capability of new or additional technologies and communicate these to other teams such as sales, quotation, and system engineers.
- Identify, provide and facilitate solutions to the Engineering Department for technical hardware related problems.
- Office based role, however some remote working may be possible.
Electrical Design Manager – The Person:
- Possess the capability and interest to become both Technical & Strategic Lead for all electrical design projects.
- Experience of systems integration preferred.
- Team leadership ability essential.
We are also open to applications from experienced Design or Senior Electrical Design Engineers who feel they have the interest and capability to progress into a department leading role.
