Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + c15% bonus + c15% overtime + travel allowances + healthcare.

Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

  • Designing MCC panels
  • Producing I/O configuration & lists
  • Producing material specifications & bills of materials
  • Produce cable lists, sizing calculations & update building layout drawings
  • Design cable routes
  • Calculate containment size
  • Writing risk assessments & method statements
  • Perform electrical testing & fault finding on site

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

  • Engineering qualification within a relevant field
  • Background in electrical design
  • CAD package - EPlan ideal, however training will be provided if you have experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Ideally have a solid knowledge of electrical regulations & safety standards
  • Located in Cambridgeshire; ideal commutable locations would include Kettering, Corby, Peterborough, Northampton, Cambridge, Bedford & Kings Lynn
  • Role would also suit a Design Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer or an Electrical Engineer with experience using an electrical CAD package.
