We are seeking an experienced and motivated Offshore Commissioning Engineer to join the team in Manchester. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning activities for offshore installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards and client requirements Offshore Commissioning Engineer £40K - £42K + Uplifts, Travel, All Expenses Paid Manchester Ref: 24744  Offshore Commissioning Engineer - The Role: Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and procedures Lead commissioning activities for offshore systems (e.g., electrical, mechanical, process, instrumentation) Perform system checks, pre-commissioning, functional testing, and final handover Interface with project engineering, operations, vendors, and contractors Prepare commissioning documentation, test reports, and punch lists Support risk assessments and HAZOP/HAZID processes Ensure compliance with HSE policies and safe working practices Participate in offshore rotations as required by the project Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement processes Offshore Commissioning Engineer - The Person: Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering Commissioning experience in offshore oil & gas, energy, or renewables projects Strong understanding of commissioning standards, procedures and safety regulations Knowledge of fire detection, protection or suppression Excellent communication and teamwork skills Willingness to travel and work offshore on a rotational basis ATEX, IEC, Functional Safety or COMPEX experience highly advantageous Valid passport and driving licence Located in Manchester, this role would be commutable from Salford, Wythenshaw, Stockport, Leigh, Sale and Swinton.
