Global leader in the Nuclear industry through its OEM status for nuclear power stations, now seeking a Principal EC&I Engineer with DCS experience to join a team based in the North West. Experience of plant life extension projects highly advantageous.
Senior DCS Systems Engineer - The Role:
- Interpretation of Design Input Requirements into fit for purpose solutions.
- Define budgets and schedules.
- Day to day management of your engineering team.
- Supervision, verification and production of design deliverables.
- Interface co-ordination with other engineering disciplines.
- Implementation of UK H&S legislation and appropriate design standards.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Identification and verification of bought out plant and equipment.
- Presentation and/or participation at HAZOP and Design Reviews.
- Production of key technical documentation including Electrical Schematics, General Arrangement Drawings, Cable Schedules and Calculations, Functional Design Specifications, Software Design Documentation, Technical file, O&M Manuals, Spares Lists, Test Documentation etc.
- Liaison with Manufacturing, Testing and commissioning personnel to ensure design optimisation.
- Initiation and implementation of Design Change Control and Contract variation identification.
