As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technically advanced solutions, shaping project strategy, and mentoring junior engineers. This is a senior-level opportunity where you will have real autonomy and long-term career visibility.
Senior Controls Engineer - The Person:
- Design, configure and develop PLC & SCADA systems for a range of industrial automation projects.
- Lead full project life cycles from initial concept and FDS through to FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
- Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to controls teams and assist in developing the next generation of engineers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of real-time control systems design, development and commissioning.
- Expertise in PLC programming (Rockwell / Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider).
- Solid experience with SCADA/HMI systems (e.g., AVEVA, FTView, WinCC, iFIX).
- Strong background in systems integration and project delivery.
- Skilled in documentation (FDS, FAT, SAT) and process management.
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) and a full UK driving licence.
