Electrical Fitter - The Role:

  • Carry out electrical wiring of control panels and special purpose automated machinery.
  • Take responsibility for wiring machine elements and electrical cabinets, including rectifications and engineering changes.
  • Support machine build, assembly and initial setup, including assisting with pneumatic routing and mechanical elements.
  • Assist in commissioning and development of machinery from power-on through to customer acceptance.
  • Test and check electrical systems, sensors and machine functions prior to full development.
  • Maintain accurate build documentation and ensure all work meets internal procedures and electrical standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve build and design issues.
  • Support installation, testing and servicing at customer sites in the UK and occasionally overseas.
  • Ensure high standards of build quality, cleanliness and presentation throughout the process.
